Outfit Idea?
So my mom's fashionable eye found this darling peplum top at Ross. I love how it's loose and because of how it's made, still fits great. I went for a casual look and paired it with my favorite light-wash denim jeans, and those flats in my last post. Sorry for the awkward pose, I need a model..
Special Finds!!
Okay so I recently went to this store called Namebrand Exchange where people donate their clothes and get store credit. I never really expect to find anything special in these kinds of stores, but I found some great finds.
First, I found these Steve Madden flats. I am absolutely in love with them!! I love how they have an "oxford" look, but they're still super feminine and cute. They only have one scuff on the toe but you can barely tell. These beauties were $8.50. Next, we have these two shirts. The navy blue sequined one is originally $35 from H&M but I got it for $7. The striped button-down is my favorite. Its sort of boxy, but still very flattering. It has shoulder pads, which gives it a vintage look. That one was $8. So as you can see, my trip was successful. The best finds are the ones that don't hurt your wallet!

Topic: Chevron
Okay this is totally my opinion, but I feel like a recent trend is the GIANT chevron print on shirts and dresses. I think every outfit could use some print, but something about chevron just irritates me. Its too busy to wear a whole shirt of it alone, but you also can't really add a chunky necklace with it... That's why I've come up with the solution: Wear chevron in little amounts. For example, instead of wearing the large chevron print tunic above, add this adorable chevron cuff on the right to add a little metal to a classy outfit. It will give you a more chic look.
My Future
So recently I've been thinking a lot about my future and what my plans are. I'd been debating between a couple things, but my mind always comes back to fashion. I'm not sure what exactly I want to do in fashion, but that's why I need explore and find out. This blog will contain fashion tips, tricks, and some of my favorite trends and finds. Enjoy :)
